A spectacular fusion of aerial theatre and world music, Le Fuzz and Firefly Theatre join forces for their 3rd production of Fuzzfly, a spellbinding visual and aural delight of acrobatics and music.

Recipients of a Canada Council grant under the Creative Development Initiative, Le Fuzz pushed the boundaries of their repertoire resulting in a fruitful blend of languages and cultures, exploring Mandarin, Swahili, Hungarian, and Portuguese. Combined with their history of songs sung in Spanish, French, and Russian, Le Fuzz delivers an unforgettable musical journey that will broaden horizons.

Edmonton’s Firefly Theatre has appeared across Canada, in London, England, and at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D. C. with their unique fusion of circus arts and theatre. They received Edmonton’s’ 2007 Excellence Award in Arts and Culture. For ‘Fuzzfly’, Firefly is bringing aerial circus acts created for and inspired by the music of Le Fuzz.  Firefly’s performances will include the Aerial Silks, Vertical Rope/Spanish Web, Aerial Hoop, Trapeze, Hula-Hoops, and the Aerial Net.

Together, these two companies have created a mesmerizing show combining world-class acrobats with spectacular original live music. Fuzzfly is an educational journey that will inspire minds and warm hearts.
